A beautiful large recreational area with a large play area for children.
It is the oldest public open space in Colchester and has been hosting events and activities since the 1880's, originally the garrison parade ground.
A grassed site of approximately 21 acres and it provides a great venue for large productions like fairs and circuses but also plays host to smaller events such as community fetes and children's activities.
